General Information

Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri is built upon strong foundations and provides a value based curriculum, inspiring children and parents to learn together. Believing that every child is a leader and has unique potential, we encourage students to set their own aspirational targets for improvement. Located in the heart of Menteng, SPM uses Indonesian and English to achieve a greater linguistic awareness.

Principle-Centered

SPM is recognized as the 1st International Lighthouse School based on the accreditation from FranklinCovey USA, giving us the license to implement The Leader in Me program. With The 7 Habits as a key component of The Leader in Me process, our SPM educators have the opportunity to develop leadership and life skills in each of our students. Furthermore, our safe and secure environment allows students to grow and reach their full potential.

Academic Excellence

Our comprehensive and integrated National Curriculum adheres to international standards in line with Cambridge Curriculum taught by our quali ed, experienced, and multicultural educators. Our low student-to-teacher ratio encourages our students to excel in their academic and holistic skills to achieve academic excellence. Our commitment is to create a joyful learning and leading experience, therefore SPM uses Quality Tools by David Langford to help students illustrate and understand the core elements of each learning topic. With only one class for each grade, our students enjoy a close-knit community

Lifelong Learning – Unleashing Potential

SPM stimulates our community for a lifelong love of learning that expands beyond classroom activities. Field Trips are designed to expose students to new experiences and to increase interest & engagement in a vivid and immerse educational theme. Participating in the Model United Nations, our high school students join other students across the globe for a simulation of the United Nations conference. This opportunity allows students to develop their critical thinking skills and broaden their perspective. We are also collaborating with Woodleigh High School Australia for a student exchange program. In addition, grade 12 students undertake an internship in a company of their choosing to re ne their interests and explore career options.

Engaged Community

Our SPM community is continuously evolving with green projects, community service, parent workshop and a dynamic Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), allowing parents to encompass school life. We are very proud of the achievements of our students both through academics and non-academics.
Accomplishments come in many forms, our students have won many 1st places in sporting activities also have represented their school and country at International debates. Nevertheless, every student realizes their potential in different ways and that is what we celebrate every day at SPM.
